Van-tastic!

A new customer came into the Print Centre to enquire about having flyers printed to promote his new business. Whilst he was here we were working on Mr Cricket’s shop signs and he asked if we could do vehicle graphics – Yes, we can!

We used the vinyl cutting machine, the same machine we use for t-shirt transfers and shop/display signs. It cuts detailed designs and lettering with great precision.

Last Thursday Vaughan and Sarah applied the graphics to the van, on both sides and the rear doors. The two shades of blue looked great on the brand new shiny white van. The customer was really pleased with the result.

Another Satisfied Customer

About 11 o’clock Tuesday morning a regular customer, Steve Brown, came in with a very urgent job. He was catching a plane that afternoon and needed to take with him 10 copies of a 130 page manual as well as 10 copies of other smaller manuals.
We said we would do our best to get the job done in time. Printers collated the various manuals, then we ring bound them. They looked great.
We had finished printing all the manuals when Steve came back at 3pm. He was delighted with the work and said “I am so pleased you’ve managed to print these at such short notice. Thank you”

Bird Feeders

Jen, one of our Printer's thought it would be a nice idea to hang bird feeders on the cherry tree outside the kitchen window. We all agreed, so Geoff, one of our volunteers bought 3 wire feeders, filled them with wild bird food and hung them on the branches.

On the very first day birds came to feed and since then we have spotted great tits, blue tits, robins and a dunnock. Today is a beautiful day, the blossom is out on the tree and lots of  birds are flying to and from the feeders- Spring has sprung at Burwell Print!
